Our scientifical-technical expertise
We have led different research projects for the chemical, pharmaceutical and environmental industries as well as for the Catalan Administration for more than 25 years. Our staff has been a member of the Scientific Board of ACSA[1](Catalan Food Safety Agency) for 10 years, being responsible for the monitoring of environmental pollutants in food and human health risk assessment.
REACH Monitor staff did a stage with US EPA (Duluth, Minnesota, USA) in the Research Programme on Toxicity Pathways, on the development of new assays for the detection of endocrine disruptors.
REACH Monitor was appointed as the organiser of the only official training in OECD QSAR Toolbox worldwide. The first one was held in Barcelona, April 2008. This course has since then been organised twice a year. This allows REACH Monitor’s staff to be permanently updated on QSAR Toolbox’s new functionalities as well as the last of ECHA’s requirements for QSARs and read-across.
Our regulatory expertise
In the regulatory field, REACH Monitor has been working in the preparation of REACH[1] dossiers since 2007, and BPR[2] dossiers. Due to our background and internal expertise, we deal with the whole technical parts of the dossiers, including test monitoring and risk assessments.
REACH Monitor has also been working as a technical consultant in REACH CoRAP evaluations, specifically in the field of Endocrine Disruptors. Our previous scientific work along with the international scientific connexions make REACH Monitor a group with high levels of knowledge in the field.
REACH Monitor also has vast experience in other regulatory fields such as cosmetics, agrochemicals, food and feed and pharma (mutagenic impurities, PDE derivation, etc.).
