IN-COMPANY TRAINING

Our current offered courses don’t match your needs? We can adapt to your organisation.

REACH Monitor can organise tailored in-company courses to complement your team’s knowledge in the field of toxicology and regulatory affairs. Please see trainees [opinions].

Last in-company courses (case examples):
– Detection and action against potentially genotoxic substances in the pharmaceutical industry
– Course for the implementation of a control system for compliance with the REACH regulation
– CLP classification and labelling course

– Regulatory Toxicology
– REACH basics: Registration, Evaluation and Authorisation
– Biocidal Products Authorisation Course.

TOOLBOX ANNOUNCEMENT / DESCRIPTION

OECD QSAR Toolbox V 4.3 training

Basic and Advanced Practical Barcelona.

What is the OECD QSAR Toolbox v 4.3

OECD QSAR Toolbox is a software intended for filling gaps in (eco)toxicity data needed for assessing the hazards of chemicals. The Toolbox incorporates theoretical knowledge, experimental data and computational tools from various sources into a logical workflow.

OECD QSAR Toolbox is strongly endorsed by ECHA and OECD

Who should attend the training:

  • Chemical industry involved in REACH, Biocides, Cosmetics, Plant Protection Products
  • Pharma industry- ICH M7 genotoxic impurities
  • I+D staff for (eco)toxicity profile anticipation
  • Researchers and university students – (reduced fee for academia)
  • National Authorities (reduced fee available)
OECD QSAR Toolbox

What’s new in OECD QSAR Toolbox v 4.3:

  • New additions (2 new databases, 5 new profilers, 2D parameters, 159 new (Q)SAR models and new functionalities),
  • Five updated databases,
  • Updated profilers and simulators,
  • Improved functionalities,
  • For details, please go to: [information &registration page]

Training course content:

The aim is to acquire the knowledge in a practical way with numerous practical examples and exercises. Each participant follows the cases on their laptop. Individual support assures the correct progress.

OECD QSAR Toolbox

Basic Course (2 days training): Main topics are: chemical profiling, selection and use of different toxicological databases, categorisation, data gap filling, automatic report, interface with IUCLID 6, automated prediction module, metabolic maps. Practical individual exercises are covering different endpoints (tox and eco-tox).

Advanced Practical Course (3 days training):

Advanced functionalities are shown supported with more than 20 different examples of predictions.

Practical day

During the last day of the training, participants will work with selected LMC examples of a molecule and endpoint and perform predictions on their own
. Each case will be discussed together with the lecturer during the session, assuring the correct work and understanding of the QSAR Toolbox.

Who is the trainer

Prof. Ovanes Mekenyan, director of Laboratory of Mathematical Chemistry OASIS in Bourgas is the head of the developers of the QSAR Toolbox. During the training, he is assisted by other members of the developer’s team who individually instructs the participants during exercises and practical work (http://oasis-lmc.org/about/the-team.aspx).

INTERNAL AUDITS (on-site and remote)

Make sure you are compliant

Regulations are extensive and changing. There are many legal requirements to meet in different aspects. Companies might struggle to monitor all the last regulatory updates and implement them.

REACH Monitor offers the service of internal audits for different regulations (REACH, CLP, BPR). Check the level of regulatory compliance:

– Implementation and/or evaluation of the regulatory management and control systems
– Definition of new procedures to ensure proper control
– Verification of compliance with legal requirements
– Compliance verification of the exposure scenarios conditions (SCC / RMM)
– Applicability of regulations to your company and exemptions

We plan with you the scope of the audit and define the key actors at the different departments relevant in compliance with the regulation. REACH Monitor auditor will go through the documents, systems and involved persons in the company to ensure that all the critical information is verified.

REACH Monitor can monitor for you the regulatory changes of your substances and products.
